I bought Sally Hansen polish from Target long time ago. I cannot remember when but it was in their clearance section.

Product Review: Sally Hansen Hard As Nails Xtreme Wear Nail Color in #430

Where to purchase: drugstore, mass merchandiser, and online at sallyhansen.com
Price: $5-6 for 0.4 fl oz/ 11..8 mL

Made in USA

Thoughts: When I first saw this polish, I wasn't too sure. For that reason, I Google the polish and fell in love with the swatches.
Here's a close look at the color.
Here's a closer look at the brush. Compared to my favorite OPI brush, the length is the same. The width, on the other hand, is slightly thinner but not by much. I consider the width to be on the medium.
I applied OPI Nail Envy in OriginalFormula X Prime Xcel Base Coat, 3 coats of Sally Hansen in Pink-Grape Fruit, and then topped it with Formula X Shine Xcel Top Coat.

Now for my overall opinion... First of all, I actually like the brush. It has a wide brush that I tend to like. Quick three strokes and I'm done with each nails. Not only that, I find it easy to paint around the cuticles and sides. Secondly, the packaging is nice. I never seem to have issues with packaging except when they have an extra top. I just think it's a waste of space but that's my personal opinion. With that said, it's sturdy and well-made. It also has a sturdy top. You can feel a slight push when you open and close the top. I cannot see it open or break unless you are rough with the packaging. Not only that, it's small enough to take with you. You can throw it in your purse, bag, and even your pocket. For that reason, it's travel-friendly. Third, the consistency is medium. It's not too thick and not too thin. It's a good consistency that you can take your time with painting. You also don't have to worry about it thickening while painting. With that said, it went on smoothly and there were no streaking and bubbles. Fourth, the color is alright. It's a great spring/summer color. When it comes to pigmentation, that's where I was disappointed. It's extremely sheer. I had to do three coats for the purple to show up on my nails. Even with that, it's barely noticeable. It's my fault for not reading the descriptions of the pictures I Google. I didn't realize the polish was applied on top of another polish. If you apply it on top of another polish, it'll be pigmented and gorgeous. It doesn't matter how you apply it but you can see the sparkles/glitters. I love that it's small specks of glitters. I'm not a fan of huge glitters. Lastly, I cannot see shrinkage and chipping whatsoever since the polish is so sheer. If it did shrink or chipped, I wouldn't know. With that said, I still recommend this polish if you want to apply on top of another polish. It'll add something special on top of that polish.

Pros:
* Wide brush; quick to paint.
* Sturdy and well-made packaging.
* Sturdy top with a slight push when you open and close.
* Travel-friendly.
* Medium consistency.
* Can take your time painting without it thickening/getting clumpy.
* Went on smoothly.
* No streaking and bubbles.
* Great spring/summer color.
* Recommend applying on top of another polish.
* Small specks of sparkles/glitters.
* Cannot see shrinkage or chipping whatsoever.

Cons:
* Sheer; not pigmented.
* Cannot see shrinkage or chipping whatsoever.

Would repurchase: No.
