Thoughts: I thought highly of Borghese Eclissare Color Eclipse 5 Shades of Torrid. For that reason, I was extremely excited to try this palette. To be honest, it's the first item I touched from this surprise package!
Here's how the palette looks open. It comes with a mirror and a snap open/closure.
Here's a closer look at the 12 eyeshadows from left to right; Bask, Afterglow, Pulse, Veil, Muse, Ascend, Wane, Impact, Downfall, Out There, Shroud, and Immortal.

* Bask - a light, warm-toned creamy-beige with a satin-matte finish.
* Afterglow - a warm-toned medium-beige with a highly metallized.
* Pulse - a warm-toned, soft-peach, highly metallized.
* Veil - a cool neutral soft-brown with a satin-matte finish.
* Muse - a burnished gold with brown undertones, highly metallized.
* Ascend - a light, soft-tan with yellow undertones, satin-matte finish.
* Wane - a rich medium brown with warm undertones, satin-matte finish.
* Impact - a medium rose-copper, highly metallized.
* Downfall - a dark brown with depth, matte finish.

Here's a closer look at one of the eyesahdows, Muse.
It comes with a double-ended brush.
Here's how one end of the brush looks like.
Here's how the other end looks like.

Now for swatches...
Here's the first three colors from the left on my hand; Bask, Afterglow, and Pulse.
Here's the next three eyeshadows from the left; Veil, Muse, and Ascend.
Here's the next three shadows from the left; Wane, Impact, and Downfall.
Here's the last three eyeshadows on the right; Out There, Shroud, and Immortal.

Now for looks I did...
Look #1:
I applied Muse on the lid, blended with Ascend on the crease, and applied Downfall on the outer V.
Here's an overall look.

Look #2:
I applied Afterglow on the lid, and blended out the crease and outer V with Veil.
Here's an overall look. I have Cargo Lip Gel Color Kit in Felice on the lips and MustaeV Maxi Volume Mascara on the lashes. This is why I love this mascara so much! No matter how thick my eyeliner is, I can still see my lashes.

Look #3:
I applied Impact on the lid, Veil on the crease, and Downfall on the outer V.
Here's an overall look. I have MustaeV 10 Lip Pro Palette (I will review soon) on the lips and MustaeV Maxi Volume Mascara on the lashes.

Now for my overall opinion... First of all, the packaging is amazing. It's made out of cardboard. It's not one of those cheap cardboards. It's extremely sturdy and well-made. Not only that, the open/closure is magnetic. It's fun hearing it close. It also comes with a mirror and a double-ended brush. Speaking of the brush and secondly, it's well-made. The brush is soft and did not shed during washing. I love the fluffy end. It's great for applying eyeshadow, as well as, blending the crease and outer V. Third, this is a great neutral palette. It's comparable to Urban Decay Naked palettes (Urban Decay Naked3). I would probably say it's closest to Urban Decay Naked, the original. With that said, I found the shadows smooth and compact. It wasn't powdery. It's also opaque and a great everyday wear. Not only that, you can smoke it out for the night out. It was easy to apply, colors looked good together, and blended well. Lastly, it lasted all day without fading and creasing.

Pros:
* Travel-friendly.
* Sturdy, well-made.
* Magnetic open/closure.
* Comes with a mirror.
* Well-made, soft double-ended brush.
* Great everyday neutral palette.
* Can smoke out the look.
* Easy to apply.
* Shadows are buttery smooth.
* It's not powdery.
* Opaque.
* Easy to blend.
* Lasted all day without fading and creasing.

Cons:
* Hard to find in stores.

Would repurchase: Yes!
