Around September/October of last year (2013), I bought some Nature Republic products.

I already reviewed Nature Republic Given By Nature Mask in Aloe. I highly recommend that sheet mask. It has to be one of my favorites I have tried from a Korean brand. For this post, I am going to review the sample mask they gave me.

Thoughts: After trying Nature Republic Given By Nature Mask in Aloe, I was extremely excited to try this mask! From what I recall with my conversation with the young salesperson, she told me this mask (Aqua Mask) is a lot better than Given By Nature. The only reason why I did not buy the Aqua Mask is because they only sold it a pack, whereas, Given By Nature they sold individually. I rather try it than buy a pack and regret it. So when they gave me this mask as a sample, I was happy that I get to try it.

Now for my overall opinion... First of all, the scent is light and flowery. It's only lasts a minute or two. Secondly, I noticed the dimensions is good except for the forehead. It's on the small side and does not cover my forehead. With that said if that doesn't cover my forehead, most likely it won't cover other people's forehead. I have a small forehead compared to the rest of my face. I also noticed the sheet is on the thicker side compared to a lot of other sheet masks. It doesn't feel like thin sheet but more like thin cloth if that makes sense. Next, I could tell even taking the mask out of the package it's not that moist. I still wore it for 30 minutes. After removing the mask, my skin felt semi-dry. There also were no essence in the package that I can pat on my neck and throat. I'm not too sure if it has to do with it being a watery mask rather than full of essence. Lastly, my skin looked glow-y after the sheet mask. With masks that's full of essence, I usually leave it overnight without wearing a serum and moisturizer. I wake up, and my skin looks and feels hydrated. Since the mask was on the semi-dry side, I wore serum and moisturizer right after. When I woke up in the morning, I looked normal like my typical mornings with serum and moisturizer overnight. I honestly think it doesn't give the full effect as I hoped.

Pros:
* The scent is light and only lasts a minute or two.
* The sheet is on the thick side; will not rip.

Cons:
* Hard to find in stores.
* The dimension on the forehead is on the small side.
* The mask is semi-wet.
* No essence in the package.
* Skin felt semi-dry after usage.
* Skin did not feel hydrated.

Would repurchase: No.
